Pioneered auctions dedicated to Photographic Literature (photobooks); realized world records for out-of-print books by Doris Ulmann, Man Ray, Hans Bellmer, and Minor White as well as issues of “Camera Work.” Introduced other new genres to the Photographs auction market, such as photojournalism (press photographs), vernacular photography (snapshots and amateur albums), and pop photographica (3-dimensional objects incorporating photographic images). Realized world records for photographs by James P. Ball, A.J. Russell, Eddie Adams, Dorothea Lange, Imogen Cunningham, Edward Curtis, Andre Kertesz, Ruth Bernhard, and Susan Derges.
